Juntos: Together we Thrive
The Juntos basic emergency services program is a bilingual program that provides services to assist the most vulnerable members of our community who live on the margins of poverty and are in need of access to emergency services that are culturally responsive. The Juntos program provides services such as, hunger relief through our food bank, Holiday food baskets, client advocacy (employment wage disputes, rental disputes, etc.)case management, provision of child passenger safety seats for infants and toddlers, instruction on child safety passenger seat installation, children, adult and youth clothing banks, benefits acquisition (enrollment of public insurance such as Medicare, Medicaid, and CHP+, garden cultivation through seed transplants for personal gardens, community outreach and referrals, and financial literacy classes.
Individuals and families that are in need of any of the Juntos program components are asked to call Servicios’ main phone line 303- 458-5851 to request an appointment. The Juntos program is located on the first floor and is wheel chair accessible in Servicios’ main building 4055 Tejon Street. The food pantry is available to individuals and families that live in the zip code of 80211, 80212, 80221, and 80204, however, referrals to other food pantries in their areas will be given. Clients that seek assistance from the Juntos food bank should call and make an appointment. Recipients will be required to provide current proof of residency (Xcel bill, phone bill, cable bill or a rental agreement)and any other information we are required to have through The Emergency Food Act Program.
