¿Listos?
The ¿LISTOS? (Latinos in Safe Transition, Order and Self-sufficiency) Project is Servicios newest component to our VISTAS program. This program will enable us to provide mental health and case management services specifically for Spanish-speaking Latina/o victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence in the Denver Metropolitan Area.
“¿LISTOS?” means “Ready?” in Spanish, and Servicios de La Raza (Servicios) aims to be ready to meet the increased need for care shown by this population.
The ¿LISTOS? program will provide services to DV victims in a comfortable, welcoming, culturally and linguistically appropriate environment, by an organization that has been active in and trusted by the Denver Latino community for 38 years. Services will include; individual and family therapy, as well as support groups and various group activities. Comprehensive case management and referral systems will be provided for all participants. In collaboration with The Conflict Center, ¿LISTOS? will provide three, 12 week workshops, in the areas of anger management, self-esteem, parenting, conflict resolution, and mediation training for support group participants.
