Essential Community Support
Food is the foundation of life. Yet, too many individuals and families face food insecurity, unsure of where their next meal will come from. Access to food should not be a privilege—it is a basic human right.
Through community support, advocacy, and direct services, no one should have to choose between putting food on the table and meeting other basic needs like health or safety. Ensuring access to nourishment strengthens individuals and communities and it's the first step to a thriving life.
Food, clothing, and basic necessities should never be out of reach.
Nutritious and sustainable food assistance is available on a weekly basis. Appointments are made by phone for food distribution through Healthy Food for Denver's Kids,TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) and generous community partnerships.
