COMIDA: Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids
COMIDA is collaborative work with City and County of Denver Government for the distribution of healthy food boxes for families.
Healthy communities start with healthy individuals, and our program currently serves these neighborhoods : Athmar Park, Barnum, Barnum West, Mar Lee, Sun Valley, Valverde, West Colfax and Westwood.
* Second Thursday of each month, 3-4:30pm at Corky Gonzales Branch Library 1498 Irving St
* Third Saturday of each month, 10a-12p at Athmar Recreation Center 2680 W Mexico Ave
Sign up for a food distribution HERE. Registration for each site opens up 1-2 weeks before distributions take place. Households must have a child under 18 years old.
