Re-Entry Program

Over 17,000 individuals are currently incarcerated in Colorado, with many returning to prison within a year of release due to limited access to post-release support. Servicios de La Raza addresses this issue through a comprehensive re-entry program that begins prior to release, offering continuous support toward self-sufficiency. Notably, Servicios is the only organization in Colorado that visits all Department of Corrections facilities statewide.

Successful reintegration into society requires access to essential resources. This program supports individuals by assisting with document acquisition, housing assistance, and transportation support.

Connections are made through a network of supportive services that provide job training, certifications, and essential tools and equipment for work. Additional assistance includes access to health resources, food, and clothing—ensuring a stable foundation for long-term success.
