In Colorado, more than 550,000 people face hunger every year--including 150,000 children. Disenfranchised communities are in substantial need of nutritious food, baby food, clothing, outerwear, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, school supplies, and pet food.
Servicios’ Essential Services (ES) is a dynamic program that adjusts to the needs of the community. Our staff assists vulnerable individuals and families out of crisis to achieve self-sufficiency, greater security, and stability in their lives. ES serves diverse client populations including those who are homeless, victims of domestic violence, low & moderate-income families, veterans, people re-entering society post-incarceration, the LGBTQ+ community, senior citizens, mixed-status households, and anyone who is having trouble making ends meet.
ES relies on financial donations, volunteers, and support from partnering agencies. Some that assist year-round include: We Don’t Waste, Food Bank of the Rockies, A Precious Child, St. Anthony’s Food Bank, Heinrich Hispanidad, and many more.
