The Essential Services food pantry is available to anyone that needs food assistance, thus making sure families and individuals can focus on becoming, or remaining, stable and thriving. ES staff work to ensure the food pantry provides healthy food options for clients including non-perishables, frozen meats, and fresh vegetables and fruit. Food baskets are made with the client in mind and to fit their needs, such as whether they have access to a kitchen. The food pantry is available to anyone that needs it on Mondays 2:00pm-3:30pm, Tuesdays 10:00am-11:30am, Wednesday 10:00am 1130am. Food pick is by appointment, and households pick up food only once a month.

Individuals and families are welcome to “shop” for clothing at the ES clothing bank. Clothing is donated by community members, sorted, and made available to clients in need. The bank includes work clothes, children’s clothes, and warm clothing and jackets for the cold winter months. ES has partnered with A Precious Child, who helps to keep the clothing bank stocked with clothing for all ages and offers a wide variety of assistance for families.

ES works to provide extra assistance to individuals and families during financially-straining times, including Back to School, Thanksgiving, and Christmas/winter holidays. Before the new school year begins, ES provides backpacks filled with age-appropriate school supplies to families. At our holiday events, food baskets that include a full-size turkey or ham and all of the fixings to cook a full holiday meal are given to individuals and families in November and December. This is made possible by fundraising efforts by ES and Servicios staff to obtain donations from the community and assistance from partners like A Precious Child, We Don’t Waste, etc.
