In Colorado, more than 550,000 people face hunger every year--including 150,000 children. Disenfranchised communities are in substantial need of nutritious food, baby food, clothing, outerwear, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, school supplies, and pet food.
Servicios’ Essential Services (ES) is a dynamic program that adjusts to the needs of the community. Our staff assists vulnerable individuals and families out of crisis to achieve self-sufficiency, greater security, and stability in their lives. ES serves diverse client populations including those who are homeless, victims of domestic violence, low & moderate-income families, veterans, people re-entering society post-incarceration, the gay and lesbian community, senior citizens, and anyone who is having trouble making ends meet.
ES relies on financial donations, volunteers, and support from partnering agencies. Some that assist year-round include: We Don’t Waste, Food Bank of the Rockies, A Precious Child, St. Anthony’s Food Bank, Heinrich Hispanidad, and many more.
