La Raza Youth Leadership Program

La Raza Youth Leadership Program believes in social justice, quality education, human rights, environmental justice worldwide. The Program welcomes and encourages differing philosophical views to promote the learning experience.

The Program is open to high school students, grades 9 -12 and designed to empower young people by fostering leadership skills, cultural awareness, and community involvement. Through various workshops, activities, and mentorship, the program helps youth build confidence, advocate for their needs, and engage in positive social change. By providing a supportive environment, the program encourages youth to become active leaders in their communities, using their voices to create a more just and equitable society.

"Skills that I feel most confident about now are speaking up and not being afraid to be curious. I plan on continuing to get involved more, and not just in school but also outside in the community to help around. I want to be a leader that hears everyone's problems and I'm there working hard to fix it"
