Denver Climate Action Now

The Climate Improves With Every Step

Yes on 2A means…

…and a better future for our children

Measure 2A would cost less than 25 cents per $100 purchase – and the cost of inaction on climate change is far greater. Experts say that failing to act now to address climate change could cost Denver $20 billion over the next 30 years.

We have a basic responsibility to leave a better world for our kids, but unchecked pollution is putting the health and future of our children at risk. 2A means a better and healthier future for our children and grandchildren.

2A targets half of the revenue raised, over the life of the fund, to communities that have historically been polluted and left behind.  Low-income communities and communities of color are disproportionately hurt by climate change, with higher rates of asthma, more pollution, and infrastructure that is less prepared for the impacts of climate change.

You can make a difference! Get moving — for better health, improved climate and less dependence on fossil fuel. Run, ride your bike, skateboard, or just walk more.
